Services (IIS) times out before it receives a response from the Microsoft SQL
Server.WORKAROUNDTo work around this problem, you can extend the Active
Server Pages (ASP) time out value to a larger value such as 600 seconds or 10
minutes. To do this, follow these steps:
- Click Start, point to All
Programs, point to Administrative Tools, and then
click Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager.
- Expand the entry for your server.
- Expand Web Sites.
- Right-click your Web site, and then click
Properties.
- On the Home Directory tab, click
Configuration.
- On the Options tab, change the ASP
script timeout value.
For example, change the ASP
script timeout value to 600. - Click OK to close the Application
Configuration dialog box.
- Click OK to close the Web site
properties dialog box.
