FIX: A device does not pass the TAHI Project Test Suite for IPv6 test for Neighbor Discovery (832263)


The information in this article applies to:

SYMPTOMS

The TAHI Project Test Suite is a series of tests that are used by the IPv6 Ready Logo program. When the test suite is run on a device, the device does not pass the test for Neighbor Discovery.

CAUSE

This problem occurs because the specification for Neighbor Discovery has changed since Microsoft Windows CE .NET 4.2 was originally developed.

RESOLUTION

Hotfix information

Prerequisites

This fix is supported only when all previously issued fixes for this product have also been installed.

Restart requirement

You must perform a clean operation and rebuild the platform after you apply this fix.
