This article describes the Microsoft Office Word 2003 issue
that is fixed in the Word 2003 hotfix package that is dated May 21, 2004.

The following issue is fixed in this hotfix package, but was not
previously documented in a Microsoft Knowledge Base article:
- When you perform a mail merge in Word 2003 with a Microsoft
Outlook 2002 contact list, the ZIP Code/Postal Code may be missing.
If
you view the Match Fields dialog box, the Postal
Code field in the Required information area shows as
Not available.
