List of Bugs Fixed in Content Management Server 2002 Service Pack 1a (831857)

SUMMARY

The following is a list of fixes and various other improvements that are included in Microsoft Content Management Server (MCMS) 2002 Service Pack 1a (SP1a).

MORE INFORMATION

This release provides the globalization capabilities of MCMS 2002 and all the fixes that are included in MCMS 2002 Service Pack 1 (SP1).

This release also provides the German, the French, and the Japanese localized versions of MCMS 2002.

This release also introduces MCMS 2002 Standard Edition, a lightweight version of MCMS 2002. MCMS 2002 Standard Edition only uses a single CPU and does not have Web farm capabilities. MCMS 2002 Enterprise Edition uses all CPUs on the computer and has Web farm capabilities.

This release includes the following hotfixes that are not included in the MCMS 2002 SP1 release:

822719 Hebrew Channel Names Are Garbled in the PageCopy and the PageMove Destination Channel Dialog Boxes

827694 Site Staging Problems Occur After You Apply MCMS 2002 S827694

831627 Error Message When You Use Visual Studio .NET to Create an MCMS 2002 Web Project or Template

This release also includes a fix for the following issue:

823400 Lost Connection May Cause Computer to Stop Responding

Note This issue also occurs in MCMS 2001. A separate hotfix is available for MCMS 2001, but not for MCMS 2002.
