WORKAROUND
To work around this problem if you have access to the source code, specify a filter string to the
OPENFILENAME structure before the code calls the
GetOpenFileName or the
GetSaveFileName function. For example:
OPENFILENAME ofn = {0};
ofn.lStructSize = sizeof(OPENFILENAME);
ofn.lpstrFilter = TEXT("Text Files\0*.txt\0All Files\0*.*\0\0");
If you are working with Visual Basic, set a file string to the
Filter property of the
CommonDialog control. For example:
