The information in this article applies to:
- Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server
SYMPTOMSWhen you send an e-mail message to a public folder from a client program that is not based on MAPI, your server-side rule may not function. For example, this problem may occur when you send an e-mail message from Microsoft Outlook Express.
Note When you send an e-mail message to a public folder from a MAPI-based client program, your server-side rule functions correctly. For example, when you send an e-mail message from Microsoft Outlook, your server-side rule functions correctly. CAUSEThis problem occurs because the PR_MESSAGE_TO_ME property and the PR_MESSAGE_CC_ME property are not set when the e-mail message is sent from the client program that is not based on MAPI.RESOLUTIONHotfix informationTo resolve this problem, obtain the August 2004 Exchange 2000 Server Post-Service Pack 3 update rollup.
