CAUSE
This problem occurs because the hotfix file name prefix begins
with KB instead of with Q. For example, in the following output, KB824146 is listed incorrectly, but Q147222 is correct:
Win32_QuickFixEngineering.HotfixID="File
1",ServicePackInEffect="KB824146"
Win32_QuickFixEngineering.HotfixID="Q147222",ServicePackInEffect=""
Note Microsoft Windows Management Instrumentation 1.5 does not support
ServicePackInEffect.
RESOLUTION
A supported hotfix is
now available from Microsoft, but it is only intended to correct the problem
that is described in this article. Only apply it to systems that are
experiencing this specific problem. This hotfix may receive additional testing.
Therefore, if you are not severely affected by this problem, Microsoft
recommends that you wait for the next Microsoft Windows NT 4.0 service pack
that contains this hotfix.
