SYMPTOMSWhen you try to go offline with Microsoft® Business Solutions CRM Sales for Outlook 1.0, you receive the following error: An unknown error has occurred. Retry the action. If the problem persists, contact your system administrator. CAUSEMicrosoft CRM Sales for Outlook clients use SOAP to communicate with the Microsoft CRM server. In some environments, because of slower networks, servers, client computers, or many records to be downloaded, the default SOAP timeout on the Microsoft CRM Sales for Outlook clients may be surpassed. RESOLUTIONMicrosoft Business Solutions CRM has a fix for this problem that is part of a cumulative package. The cumulative package information is described in the following Microsoft Knowledge Base article: 834642 Microsoft Business Solutions CRM 1.0 hotfix for 831190, 834641, and 837516 This problem has been fixed in Microsoft Business Solutions CRM 1.2.
