You receive an "Error in LAYER Table" error message when you use AutoCAD to open a .dfx file that you saved in Visio 2003 (831065)

SYMPTOMSWhen you save a Microsoft Office Visio 2003 drawing as a .dfx file and then you try to open that .dfx file in AutoCAD, you receive the following error message: Error in LAYER Table Invalid AcDbLayerTableRecord plot flag for DEFPOINTS layer on line 1492. Invalid or incomplete DXF input -- drawing discarded.
CAUSEWhen you save the Visio file as a .dfx file, the file saves the DEFPOINTS layer with the value one instead of the value zero. WORKAROUNDTo work around this problem, save your drawing as a .dwg file in Visio, and then open the .dwg file in AutoCAD.MORE INFORMATION
