The bullet or the number may not change to the correct font size when you paste formatted text in OneNote 2003 (831038)

SYMPTOMS

When you paste text that is formatted with bullets, with numbering, or with note flags in Microsoft Office OneNote 2003, the bullet or the number may not change to the correct font size when you paste the text to match the destination formatting.

CAUSE

This problem may occur when you click Paste on the Edit menu, and then click Match Destination Formatting on the Paste Options button.

WORKAROUND

To work around this problem, reformat the pasted text instead of selecting the option to match the destination formatting. To do this, follow these steps:
  1. Click Text Node.
  2. On the Format menu, click Font.
  3. Click both Font and Font Size.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.
