Windows CE-based Device May Not Resume from a Suspended State to Process Alerts (830768)


The information in this article applies to:

SYMPTOMS

A Microsoft Windows CE-based device may not always resume from a suspended state to process a scheduled action such as an alert or a reminder. Therefore, the alert or the reminder does not appear on the device at the scheduled time.

CAUSE

This problem occurs because the operating system does not always schedule the WAKEUP event correctly.

RESOLUTION

Prerequisites

This hotfix is supported only if all previously issued hotfixes for this product have also been installed.

Restart Requirement

You must perform a clean operation and then rebuild the platform after you apply this hotfix.
