SUMMARY

In the Microsoft Windows operating system version 3.1, you can install the TrueType Font Pack through the Control Panel. To do this, use the following steps:
  1. Open the Control Panel and choose the Fonts icon.
  2. Insert the first Font Pack disk into your disk drive.
  3. Select the Add button.
  4. Select the drive where the Font Pack disk is located.
  5. Choose the Select All button, then choose the OK button.
  6. Repeat the procedure for the second Font Pack disk.

The Microsoft TrueType Font Pack contain 44 fonts: 22 fonts in the Lucida collection of fonts by Bigelow & Holmes and 22 fonts designed by Monotype Typography.

TrueType fonts are designed to work with the Microsoft Windows operating system version 3.1.

If this is a reinstallation or identical TrueType fonts already exist in Windows, you must remove these fonts before you install the Font Pack. To remove identical TrueType fonts before reinstallation, use the following steps:
  1. Open the Control Panel and choose the Fonts icon.
  2. Select all the identical fonts from the Installed Fonts list.
  3. Choose the Remove button.
  4. Select the Delete Font File From Disk check box.
  5. Choose the Yes To All button.
