UNCONF: Tandy 1000 HD Defaults to Hercules During Works Setup (83596)

SUMMARY
During the initial Microsoft Works for MS-DOS version 2.0
installation, the SETUP.EXE program may select or detect an incorrect
video card for the Tandy 1000 HD with a monochrome monitor. The
default Setup may select the "Hercules 102 or Compatible" or one of
the other Hercules options. This is an incorrect selection. Using this
selection, you may experience keyboard hanging or screen corruption
when attempting to run the Works program.
To correct the problem, run Setup again, and select the "CGA and most
laptops" option instead of accepting the default video selection.
Removing the WORKS.INI and SCREEN.VID files can provide a temporary
solution. This allows Works to function but disables graphics modes.
