CAD drawing text does not appear correctly in Visio 2003 after you convert the drawing to Visio format (829939)

SYMPTOMS

In Microsoft Office Visio 2003, when you save a Microsoft Visio drawing that contains Oval callout shapes and Circle callout shapes in CAD format (.dwg file ), and then you convert the drawing to Visio format, you may find that text in the shapes does not appear correctly. For example, the text may appear rotated from its original position, or size may have changed.

CAUSE

This problem occurs if you create a drawing in Visio, convert the drawing to a .dwg file, and then convert the .dwg file back into a Visio drawing.

WORKAROUND

To work around this problem, save the drawing in Visio format before you save it as a .dwg file.
