Systems Management hardware inventory cannot access PasswordAge data in Windows XP (829835)

SYMPTOMS

When you edit the SMS_def.mof file in Systems Management Server (SMS) 2003 and set the SMS_Report flag for the NetworkLoginProfile attribute and set the PasswordAge property to TRUE, you cannot gather the PasswordAge data from Microsoft Windows XP-based computers

By default, the SMS_Report flag for the NetworkLoginProfile attribute is set to False in the SMS_def.mof file.

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section of this article.
