Use the Netsh command-line tool to configure the IPv6 protocol instead of using the IPv6.exe utility (828999)

IntroductionMicrosoft recommends that users of Microsoft Windows
XP-based computers (Service Pack 1 and later releases) use the Netsh
command-line tool (Netsh.exe) to configure Internet Protocol version 6 (IPv6).
Microsoft recommends that you use Netsh for IPv6 instead of using the IPv6.exe
utility. Netsh for Interface IPv6 is included in the Networking Pack. You can
use Netsh to query and configure IPv6 interfaces, address, caches, and
routes.
