Introduction

Microsoft recommends that users of Microsoft Windows XP-based computers (Service Pack 1 and later releases) use the Netsh command-line tool (Netsh.exe) to configure Internet Protocol version 6 (IPv6). Microsoft recommends that you use Netsh for IPv6 instead of using the IPv6.exe utility. Netsh for Interface IPv6 is included in the Networking Pack. You can use Netsh to query and configure IPv6 interfaces, address, caches, and routes.
