Plus! Photo Story Cannot Create a VCD with Some Hardware and Software Products (828998)

SYMPTOMS

When you try to create a Video CD (VCD) by using Microsoft Plus! Photo Story, you may experience one or more of the following symptoms:

You cannot create a VCD.
The final seconds of the VCD are corrupted.
You cannot play the VCD that you created.
Photo Story cannot detect your Compact Disc-Rewriteable (CD-RW) drive.
The write speeds for your CD-RW drive are listed incorrectly.

CAUSE

This behavior may occur if you are using any of the following hardware or software products:
