Users are not prompted for their credentials after the server sends a PEAP re-authentication request (828996)



The information in this article applies to:

SYMPTOMS

After users have logged on and their credentials have been authenticated, they are not prompted to provide their user name and password again when they receive a re-authentication request from the server.

CAUSE

This behavior occurs because user credentials are cached in the registry after they have been authenticated.

STATUS

This behavior is by design.
