Plus! Photo Story Cannot Detect Blank Media (828995)

SYMPTOMS

When you try to use Windows Plus! Photo Story to create a video CD, you may receive the following message when there is a blank disk in the CD-RW drive or the DVD-RW drive: Please Insert Blank Disk

CAUSE

This behavior may occur if you have Ahead Software's Nero Burning ROM software running on your computer.

WORKAROUND

To work around this behavior, quit all instances of Nero Burning ROM and Nero Image Drive before you try to create a Video CD.
