SYMPTOMS

On a computer that is running Microsoft Windows 2000 with Service Pack 4 (SP4), during a Microsoft NetMeeting remote session, you can regain control of the remote computer by pressing any key on your keyboard. In Windows 2000 with Service Pack 3 (SP3), you can regain control only by using the ESC key.

CAUSE

This behavior is designed to make it easier to regain control in case someone at the remote site tries to take control from the remote user.

STATUS

This behavior is by design.
