The menu bar items on the home page appear in the wrong order in Microsoft Project Web Access (828824)

SYMPTOMS

When you log on to a Microsoft Project Web Access server as an administrator for that server, the menu bar items on the home page are not in the order that you expect. They appear in the following order:
  • Home
  • Tasks
  • Projects
  • Resources
  • Status Reports
  • Updates
  • Documents
  • Issues
  • Admin
  • Risks

CAUSE

This problem occurs because, if you upgrade from Microsoft Project Server 2002 to Microsoft Office Project Server 2003, menu customizations are maintained from the prior version.

WORKAROUND

To work around this problem, you can customize the order of the menus on the home page. To do so, follow these steps:
  1. Log on to the Microsoft Project Web Access server.
  2. Click Admin.
  3. Click Server Configuration.
  4. Click Menus, and then make the changes that you want to the menus.
  5. Click OK.
