You can publish Visio 2003 drawings to the following Microsoft Windows environments where Microsoft FrontPage Extensions 2002 is installed:

• A Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Microsoft Internet Information Services 6.0 or later.
• A Microsoft Windows 2000 Server-based computer that runs Microsoft Internet Information Services 5.0 or later.
• A Microsoft Windows NT 4.0 Server Service Pack 6a-based computer or later that runs Microsoft Internet Information Server 4.0 or later.

Additionally, you can publish Visio drawings to the following UNIX environment where FrontPage Extensions 2002 is installed:

• Red Hat Linux 7.2-based computer that runs Apache Web Server 1.3.19

When you publish a Visio 2003 drawing to a Web server, it is best to use the 8.3 format to name your files. For example, use"Drawing1.htm" instead of"Drawing1 Convention Center.htm". Remember that file names are case-sensitive in a UNIX environment. When you publish to a UNIX environment, make sure that you use all lowercase characters and that you remove all spaces in the file names.

You may not be able to publish Visio 2003 drawings to the following UNIX environments:

• Sun Solaris 8-based Web Server that runs iPlanet
• FreeBSD-based computer that runs Apache Web Server 1.3.26

When you try to publish to these environments, a red "X" may appear on the Web page instead of the Visio drawing. This behavior may occur if the UNIX environment is incompatible with FrontPage Server Extensions 2002.
