"Could Not Load Type System.Int32 from Assembly Microsoft.SharePoint" Error Message When You Install Windows SharePoint Services (828773)

SYMPTOMSWhen you install Microsoft Windows SharePoint Services on a
server that is running Microsoft Windows Server Service Pack 1 (SP1) Beta, or
on a server that has certain Microsoft Visual Studio hotfixes installed, you
may receive the following error message: Could not load
type System.Int32 from assembly Microsoft.SharePoint, Version=11.0.0.0,
Culture=neutral, PublickKeyToken=. Additionally, an event error
message that has a description that is similar to the following is logged to
the application event log: Could not load type
System.Int32 from Microsoft.SharePoint.dll? As a result, the
installation of Windows SharePoint Services does not complete successfully.
CAUSEThis issue occurs in situations when there is an issue with
the common language runtime component of Microsoft .NET Framework and a build
tool that is used by Windows SharePoint Services and Windows Server 2003 SP1
Beta, and this issue prevents Windows SharePoint Services Setup from completing
successfully.RESOLUTION To resolve this issue, install the hotfix that is
documented in the following article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base on the
server, and then install Windows SharePoint Services: 828295 FIX: Error message: Security Exception: PermissionToken index does not match index into m_unrestrictedPermSet
