CAUSE
This problem may occur after you install the QoS Packet Scheduler network component on an SMS 2.0 site server. In the following registry subkey:
\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\{4D36E972-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}\<000x>\Linkage
the value of the registry entry
UpperBind may change from Tcpip to Psched.
The SMS_WINNT_SERVER_DISCOVERY_AGENT
service is hard-coded to find Tcpip as the value in the
UpperBind entry. If the Tcpip value does not exist, the SMS_WINNT_SERVER_DISCOVERY_AGENT
service will not report the TCP/IP
settings.
