PRB: Application Center Test Does Not Record a Test of ASP.NET Applications (827919)
The information in this article applies to:
- Microsoft Application Center Test, Developer Edition
SYMPTOMSWhen you try to record a test script by using Application Center Test and Microsoft Internet Explorer, the browser may appear to stop responding. This generally occurs while you record ASP.NET applications, and you use a Visual control (for example, you push a button, and this action triggers a POST request to the Web server).
The browser progress bar shows slow progress. However, the action that the Visual component is expected to generate is never executed. The browser window has not completely stopped responding, and you can close the browser. However, Application Center Test does not generate a test script.RESOLUTIONTo resolve this problem, start Internet Explorer and then follow these steps: - On the Tools menu, click Internet Options.
- Click the Advanced tab.
- In the Settings list, click HTTP 1.1 settings.
- Click to clear the "Use HTTP 1.1 through proxy connections" check box, and then click OK.
- Close Internet Explorer, and then try to record the Application Center Test script again.
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
