MSN group member cannot save changes to OneNote 2003 document (827911)

SYMPTOMSIf a member of your MSN group makes changes to your
Microsoft Office OneNote 2003 document, you may experience the following
symptoms:
- If the member tries to save changes to your OneNote 2003
document, they receive an error message that indicates that they cannot save
the changes to the document. However, if the member reopens the document their
changes are retained (saved).
- If you open your OneNote 2003 document that should contain
changes from a different member, the changes are missing (not
saved).
CAUSEThis problem may occur when members do not have sufficient
permissions in the group.RESOLUTIONTo resolve this problem, change the member's role to at
least Asst-manager. To do this, follow these steps. Note You must be the manager of the group to complete these steps.
- Visit the home page of your group.
- Click Manager Tools.
- Click Manage the Member List.
- In the Current members list, change the
Member Role of the current member to
Asst-manager, and then click Save.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.
