Text That Was Not Visible in an AutoCAD Drawing Is Visible After the Drawing Is Converted to Visio 2003 (827863)
The information in this article applies to:
- Microsoft Office Visio Professional 2003
- Microsoft Office Visio Standard 2003
SYMPTOMSWhen you convert a drawing that was drawn by using Autodesk
Inc.'s AutoCAD into a Microsoft Office Visio 2003 drawing, and that drawing
contains furniture blocks, you can see label boxes in the converted Visio
drawing that were not visible in AutoCAD or Visio CAD Object
Display.CAUSEThis behavior occurs because the furniture blocks in AutoCAD
contain block name labels that have been set to a very small font size that is
not visible in AutoCAD. When the file is converted to Visio, the text converts
to the minimum Visio text size. As a result, the text can be
seen.MORE INFORMATION
