Ray Lines in a CAD Drawing That You Open in Visio 2003 Are Displayed Incorrectly (827862)

SYMPTOMS

In Microsoft Office Visio 2003, when you open a CAD drawing (.dwg file) that contains ray lines, you may find that the ray lines in the drawing are either missing or are displayed incorrectly.

CAUSE

This problem occurs because Visio incorrectly renders certain ray entities that are contained in CAD drawings.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
