SYMPTOMS
After you apply the cumulative security updates for Internet
Explorer that are documented in Microsoft Security Bulletins MS03-032 (822925)
or MS03-040 (828750), you may receive an error message that is similar to the
following when you try to visit Web pages that are opened by JavaScript
functions in frames or in windows:
The page cannot be
found.
The page you are looking for might have been removed, had its name
changed, or is temporarily unavailable...
HTTP 404 - File not found
Note The exact error message you receive may vary depending on your
Internet Explorer settings or the configuration of the Web
site.

RESOLUTION
To resolve this problem, install the cumulative security
update for Internet Explorer that is documented in Microsoft Security Bulletin
MS03-048 (824145). For additional information about this security update, visit
the following Microsoft Web site:
If you cannot install the MS03-048 (824145) security update,
obtain the appropriate update or hotfix for your version of Internet Explorer.

Note Microsoft originally released a hotfix for this issue with the
following file attributes. This hotfix was released before the security patch
for Internet Explorer that is documented in Microsoft Security Bulletin
MS03-040 (828750). As a result, you cannot install the original hotfix if you
have the MS03-040 (828750) security patch installed. On October 8, 2003
Microsoft released an updated version of this package.
