MSBBN: Windows Automatically Dials a Connection When You Try to Connect by Using Your Microsoft Wireless Network Adapter (827332)

SYMPTOMSWhen you try to access the Internet by using your Microsoft
wireless broadband network adapter, a dial-up connection dialog box may open,
and your computer may try to connect to the Internet by using a dial-up
connection.CAUSEThis issue may occur when your computer is configured to
automatically dial a connection when you try to access the
Internet.RESOLUTIONTo resolve this issue, configure your computer to never dial
an Internet connection when you try access the Internet . To do this, follow
these steps:
- Click Start, click Control
Panel, and then double-click Internet
Options.
- Click the Connections tab, and then click
Never dial a connection.
- Click OK.
