SYMPTOMS
When you try to mount a private information store (mailbox store) after you perform disaster recovery of a Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server computer to a new computer, you may receive one of the following error messages:
An internal processing error has occurred. Try restarting the Exchange System Manager or the Microsoft Exchange Information Store service, or both.

This can occur after moving Exchange 2000 to new hardware with the same server name and IP address and running the disaster recovery install of Exchange.
