Visual Basic and Macro Scripts Are Deleted When You Package a PowerPoint Presentation (827248)

SYMPTOMSIf you create a Microsoft PowerPoint presentation that contains a Microsoft Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) or macro script in PowerPoint 2003, and you package the PowerPoint presentation for a CD, the VBA or macro script is deleted from the PowerPoint presentation.CAUSEThis behavior occurs when both of the following conditions are true: - You apply a digital signature (certificate) to your VBA or macro script that is in your PowerPoint presentation.
-and- - You used the following steps when you saved your PowerPoint presentation
- On the File menu, click Save As to save your PowerPoint presentation to a new location or file name.
- Click Package for CD.
- Close the file.
WORKAROUNDTo work around this behavior, close the PowerPoint presentation after you click Save As to save your PowerPoint presentation, and then reopen the presentation before you click Package for CD.
