Site Deployment Import Is Missing Some Postings (827200)

The information in this article applies to:

  • Microsoft Content Management Server 2002 SP1

SYMPTOMS

When you perform a Site Deployment import, some content might be missing. The missing postings are exported from the source server, and they show as imported on the import report. However, when a user browses the site, those postings are not available. The postings are seen as unpublished on the destination server. This problem may occur if the Site Deployment import is performed by using either SDAPI or Site Manager.

This problem may occur if you performed an earlier update to the destination server by backing up the source Microsoft Content Management Server (MCMS) 2002 database and by restoring to the destination database.
