The following issue has been fixed in this hotfix package but was
not previously documented in a Microsoft Knowledge Base article.
- When you install IBM Lotus Notes, Microsoft Outlook 2002,
and the Microsoft Outlook 2002 Connector, when you start Outlook, you receive
the following error message and Outlook does not start:
Microsoft Outlook has encountered a problem and needs to close. We
are sorry for the inconvenience.
If you view the details of the error
message, you receive an error signature that is similar to the following:
