You can retrieve a maximum of 1,000 public queues in a Message Queuing enterprise (826988)

SYMPTOMS

In a Microsoft Message Queuing enterprise, you can retrieve a maximum of 1,000 public queues when you request sorting and call the MQLocateBegin function or the MQLocateNext function.

CAUSE

This problem occurs because Message Queuing does not use paged results to display sorted results to an Active Directory directory service query.

RESOLUTION

Hotfix information

A supported hotfix is now available from Microsoft, but it is only intended to correct the problem that is described in this article. Only apply it to systems that are experiencing this specific problem. This hotfix may receive additional testing.
