"Insufficient Resources" Error Message When You Back Up or Restore a Large SQL Database in Windows 2000 (826971)

SYMPTOMSWhen you try to back up or restore a Microsoft SQL Server database, one or both of the following issues may occur: CAUSEThis issue may occur if both of the following conditions are true: - The SQL Server database is larger than 4 gigabytes (GB).
-and- - The following hotfix is installed on your computer:

RESOLUTIONTo resolve this issue, remove the hotfix that is described in the "Cause" section. To do this, follow these steps. Note If you remove this hotfix from a computer that is using a Microsoft Commerce Server 2000-based program, the performance of the computer may decrease. - Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.
- Double-click Add/Remove Programs.
- Click Windows 2000 Hotfix (Pre-SP4), and then click Change/Remove.
- Click Yes to confirm.
- Click OK.
