SYMPTOMS
When you try to wake your computer (that is, to bring it
out of standby or out of hibernation) by using a USB device, such as a USB
mouse or a USB keyboard, the computer stops responding, or "hangs."
Note This problem may not occur until after you install the Windows XP
SP1 USB 1.1 and 2.0 Update (822603).

Hotfix information
A supported hotfix is now available
from Microsoft, but it is only intended to correct the problem that is
described in this article. Only apply it to systems that are experiencing this
specific problem. This hotfix may receive additional testing. Therefore, if you
