Data May Be Repeated on the Windows SharePoint Services Web Page (826885)

SYMPTOMS

When you insert data into a Microsoft Windows SharePoint Services Web page, the data that you insert may be repeated. This problem may occur when you insert a picture library or a document library. For example, if you insert a picture library, the first picture in the picture library is repeated throughout the library.

CAUSE

This behavior may occur if the path for the field contains an encoded space.

WORKAROUND

To work around this behavior, remove the encoded space (%20) from the field.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
