SUMMARYIn Microsoft SharePoint Portal Server 2003, when you delete an audience that targets Web parts of a Web Page, you receive the following warning message: Are you sure that you want to delete Audience Audience Name.The warning message does not describe the potentially significant consequences of deleting an Audience. MORE INFORMATIONIf you delete an audience, the targeted listings no longer appear to the members of the deleted audience. Additionally, targeted Web parts that contain sensitive information may appear to everyone who visits the Web Page where the Web parts are located. By default, when a Web part does not target at least one audience, it appears to everyone. A Web part that targeted a specific audience appears to all the portal users when you delete the targeted audience.
