System Requirements

To install the Exchange Update for Entourage X (Office v. X 10.1.4 Update), you must meet the following requirements:

• The client computer must be running MacOS/X version 10.1 or later versions.
• Internet Message Access Protocol (IMAP), Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP), and Web Distributed Authoring and Versioning (WebDAV) must be enabled on the computer that is running Exchange Server.
• The mail server must be running Microsoft Exchange Server 2000 or later versions. Microsoft Exchange Server 5.5 is not supported.
  
  Exchange Calendar and Contact synchronization will not be available for mailboxes that reside on a server that is running Exchange Server 5.5. However, IMAP and Post Office Protocol version 3 (POP3) can function independently of the new Exchange Update for Entourage X (Office v. X 10.1.4 Update) features to retrieve mail from non-Exchange 2000 servers. This includes servers that are running Exchange Server 5.5 and servers that are running third-party mail server software.
