BUG: Changes that you make to a recurring meeting in a Meeting Workspace are not saved in Outlook 2003 (826493)

SYMPTOMS

When you use Outlook 2003 to schedule a recurring meeting in a Meeting Workspace, any changes that you make to the recurring meeting in the Meeting Workspace may not be saved.

CAUSE

This problem may occur if all the following conditions are true:
  • You create a Meeting Workspace.
  • You use a yearly or monthly recurring meeting in the Meeting Workspace.
  • You use a non-Gregorian calendar in the Meeting Workspace, such as the Japanese Lunar calendar or the Arabic Hijri calendar.

WORKAROUND

To work around this problem, do one of the following:
  • Create a Meeting Workspace that uses a Gregorian calendar.

    -or-
  • Use only daily or weekly recurring meetings with non-Gregorian calendars.
