FIX: "HTTP 400 - Bad request" error message in the .NET Framework 1.1 (826437)

message: 1.1 - HTTP 400 - Bad Request For

After you install the service pack, to enable the fix, set the following registry key: DWORD HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\ASP.NET VerificationCompatibility = 1 STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.
This problem was first corrected in the .NET Framework 1.1 Service Pack 1.
