You do not receive any search results when you search for a VBA command or for a Developer Reference keyword in Visio 2003 (826413)

SYMPTOMS

You type one of the following items in a Search box to perform a search in Visio 2003:
  • A Microsoft Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) command.

    -or-
  • A Microsoft Visio Developer Reference keyword.

    -or-
  • A Help topic.
You do not receive any search results or Help topics from the standard Visio 2003 Help files.

CAUSE

This problem occurs because the Microsoft Visio Developer Reference is not indexed in the Visio Help files. However, you can still search on various Developer Reference Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) topics from the Visual Basic Editor.

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
