FIX: QASF Does Not Support a Script Pin for Multiple Bitrate Video (826343)

SYMPTOMS

When you use a DirectX application to encode data in the Microsoft Windows Media format, if you create a Windows Media profile that contains one script, one audio, and two bitrate mutually exclusive video streams, you may receive an error message when you begin encoding.

CAUSE

This error occurs because the QASF filter does not correctly support a script pin when multiple bitrate mutually exclusive video streams exist.

Microsoft scanned this file for viruses. Microsoft used the most current virus-detection software that was available on the date that the file was posted. The file is stored on security-enhanced servers that help to prevent any unauthorized changes to the file.
