SYMPTOMS
When you use the
ReceiveBy method or the
ReceiveByCorrelationID method with multiple threads against the same message queue, an
invalid handle exception may occur. You may receive the following error
message:
An invalid handle was passed to the function.
(Error code: 0xc00e0007)
WORKAROUND
To work around this problem, do not use the
ReceiveBy method and the
ReceiveByCorrelationID method. To implement a
MessageEnumerator object, run the following code:
try
{
while (messagesEnumerator.MoveNext(timespan))
{
Message message = (Message) messagesEnumerator.Current;
if (String.Compare(message.CorrelationId, correlationID,true, System.Globalization.CultureInfo.InvariantCulture) == 0)
{
ResponseMsg = messagesEnumerator.RemoveCurrent();
}
}
}
catch (MessageQueueException mqe)
{
.
}
finally
{
if (messagesEnumerator != null)
messagesEnumerator.Close();
}
