Short audio recordings do not play in OneNote 2003 (825927)

SYMPTOMSWhen you make a short audio recording in OneNote 2003 and
then click Play, the audio recording does not
play.CAUSEThis problem occurs when your audio recording is less than 5
seconds in length. When Microsoft Windows Media Player tries to play the
recording, a stop condition may exist that may cause OneNote 2003 to stop
playing the audio recording.RESOLUTIONTo resolve this problem, upgrade to Microsoft Windows Media
Player 9 Series or later. For more information about Windows Media Player 9
Series, visit the following Microsoft Web site: STATUS Microsoft
has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed
at the beginning of this article.
