SUMMARYIf you try to install an application to a Microsoft Windows
Powered Pocket PC device that requires ActiveSync to install, you may notice
one of the following error messages The installShield
Engine (iKernel.exe) could not be installed. IKernel.exe could not be
copied to 'C:\Program Files\Common Files\InstallShield\Engine\6\Intel
32'. Make sure that you have the appropriate privileges to copy files to
this folder. (0x5) -or- "Invalid Windows CE Setup
Files: Application Manager cannot install this application on your mobile
device due to an invalid setup file. Reinstall and try
again." MORE INFORMATIONTo install any application to a Pocket PC device, you must
be logged on to the computer as a member of the Administrator group or must
have Administrator rights. If you try to install the application as an
Administrator when you are logged on to an account that does not have
Administrator rights, the installation will fail.
