You cannot wake your Apple Titanium PowerBook model 550 or Apple Titanium PowerBook model 667 from hibernation (825567)

  • Connectix Virtual PC for Mac version 5.0

SYMPTOMS

When you try wake your Apple Titanium PowerBook model 550 or 667 from hibernation, the PowerBook does not resume operation.

CAUSE

This problem may occur if you are running Connectix Virtual PC version 5.0 for Mac when the PowerBook goes into hibernation. This problem only occurs with Virtual PC version 5.0. This problem does not occur with Virtual PC version 6.0 and later. This problem also does not occur with Apple Titanium PowerBook model 400 or Apple Titanium PowerBook model 500.

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section of this article.
