You cannot control the CD player from the guest operating system (825556)

SYMPTOMSWhen you try to control an audio CD from the
guest operating system in Microsoft Virtual PC for Mac, the Start button and the
Stop button on the player may not work.CAUSEThis problem may occur if you are using the Apple CD/DVD driver
extension version 1.3.8 or earlier under Mac OS 9.RESOLUTIONTo resolve this problem, use the
Apple Software Update utility to update the Apple CD/DVD driver. To update your version of Mac
OS 9, follow these steps:
- Point to the Apple menu, and then point to
Control Panels.
- Click Software Update.
- Click Update Now, and then follow the
instructions that appear on the screen to install the latest version of the
driver.
