Applescripts That Control Virtual PC Do Not Work (825362)


The information in this article applies to:

  • Microsoft Virtual PC for Mac version 6.1
  • Connectix Virtual PC for Mac version 6.0

SYMPTOMS

If you try to run an AppleScript script that interacts with of tries to control Connectix Virtual PC for Mac version 6.0 or Microsoft Virtual PC for Mac version 6.1, the script may not run or may not function as expected.

CAUSE

This problem occurs because your Macintosh computer uses either Mac OS X 10.2 or 10.2.1.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, Microsoft recommends that you update your Mac OS X operating system to Mac OS X 10.2.2 or later.
